Below is a brief guide to the different strengths of concrete, and what we typically use them for.
C15/C20
Domestic
These grades are typically used for smaller projects, where heavy traffic is not likely. Applications would include foundations, shed bases, patio bases and pathways.
C30/C35
Domestic/Commercial
These grades are used for larger works, including areas of heavy traffic. Typical uses are driveways, storage areas, reinforced floors and grain store floors
C40
Commercial
Our most used grade of concrete. This, when coupled with a variety of additives, is what we use in all of our stable floors, muck heaps, farm yards and foundations for oil and septic tanks.
